The Beasts of Bourbon sound something along the lines of Nick Cave fronting The Gun Club, and if you're a fan of either artist, you really need to check this out. They aren't the only influence present - you can hear The Cramps, The Rolling Stones, and even Porter Wagoner. However, the band manages to blend all these influences to create a sound thats truly their own. "The Axeman's Jazz" is easily the best album they ever made, full of classic numbers.
