This is the first album released by the industrial project "Download", featuring a base of cEvin Key and Dwayne Rudolph Goettel from "Skinny Puppy", DJ + programmer + musician Phil Western aka Philth and Mark Spybey of "Dead Voices in Air" as well as a former contributor to ":zoviet*france:" with guests such as Genesis P-Orridge on several tracks. The album was a very bold experiment in 1992, the only thing they would actually agree on before pushing the record button was bpm (tempo) of the track. The results, many featuring cryptical lyrics by Mark Spybey, were then edited with the latest harddiskediting technology. It was also one of the first albums released with a lenticular cover.

グリーン is a four-member Japanese vocal group from Kōriyama city in Fukushima prefecture, made up of the members Hide, Navi, 92, and Soh. They made their debut with Universal Music in 2007. Their logo image is of a mouthful of teeth, and the four e's indicate the number of members. The sound production is handled by Hide's older brother JIN, a member of Pay Money To My Pain.
